Reading Like a Historian

With the new changes coming next year with the implementation of the new ELA COS and College Readiness Standards (CCRS) for Alabama, the Reading Like a Historian video on the Teacher Channel addresses contextualization.  It demonstrates how to integrate the CCRS Informational Text from the Appendix D section of the ELA COS into the subject matter.  This is a good resource for Education and Training teachers about how to integrate literacy standards when instructing students in the development of a history lesson.
